I started following the Magic closely this season(since I'm a big Carter fan and I want to see him win a ring) and the majority of their fans usually dislike having Pietrus on the team..he's just way too inconsistent and he has extremely low basketball IQ..the series vs. the Cavs was the only consistent contribution he ever made to the team and he's regressed heavily this season..

Personally, I like Pietrus' game when he's not playing like a total idiot, but Pop would have him in the doghouse after EVERY GAME where he would get any PT..

I am sure so many can make this thread for other teams as well, it happens! Spurs have had alot though and some are not happy with that there alone? They stole Blair in round two, Manu in round two, Parker at the 28th or whatever it was, Bowen from Miami that one year! Spurs also got George Hill late who is a very good player, getting better all the time. We missed out on some in the draft or FA yes, but they have had alot too.

I see you missed the 04 playoffs. Let me break it down real quick. Spurs 2004 team = possibly greatest Spurs team ever... then LA decides not to guard Turkoglu in game 3 and beyond when he can't hit an open shot, and pretty soon 19 game win streak and season over in a 4-game flash. Turkoglu was the original Bonner for the Spurs in the playoffs.

and 90% of the fans/posts there are stark raving nuts about Pietrus and what he means to the team. He is an inconsistent shooter and that's why he was taken out of the starting lineup in favor of a more consistent Matt Barnes but coming off the bench really suits him best as he showed in the post season last year.
