Rose actually averages 4 FT's a game. And FT's aren't always an indicator of how often a player drives to the basket, Tony Parker averages only 4 FT's a game for his career.
This is Allanon stubbornly hating on Derrick Rose with no basis, because a year ago he got exposed for saying Rose sucked cuz he missed a free throw in college. Even in the face of complete ownage Allanon will insist on going down looking like a re .

I'll say it again, the Bulls are 1st round playoff fodder as long as Rose is their best player.
And the entire basis of this opinion is the fact that he missed a free throw in college.
As surprising as it is, Allanon is actually correct here(yes, it is strange)..Rose averages around 11.5 jump shots per game and about 5.5 shot attempts at the rim per game..he also doesn't get to the FT line a lot compared to other PGs, especially with how much he handles the ball..
Rose is the only player in the NBA that has a 27% or higher usage rating and only averages 4 FTA per game or less..
Still a very good player with a lot of upside remaining though..
