Again I ask, is Jordan the GOAT only because of what he did on the basketball court?
It's sad that even an argy realizes that GOAT and "best player ever" is the same thing, while you try to argue semantics like a . lol batting 100.

that's alright son, I know that's the best you can come up with. lol lying about join date.
I don't waste time debating with your kind, sons.
Son, are you honestly that stupid? we all understand GOAT refers to the sport of basketball. Do you want us to put "GOAT in basketball", just or you?
I don't waste time debating with your kind, .
Son, you don't debate. You get owned and then run around in circles. I hope you realize everybody knows you've been owned, but you're so stupid, I'm not sure....you might actually think your moves to do whatever it takes to not admit you were wrong are working. lol lying about join date.

I'll respond when a real poster responds.
Son, were you really that butthurt about your E-rep that you tried to lie about your join date? lolz.
so you don't think goat and best player in the history of basketball are the same thing? Wtf? Someone should make a poll on that so you can understand that they are.
Ho hum.
So when will a REAL poster tell me if Jordan was "the GOAT" just because of what he did on the basketball court?
Is Michael Jordan the GOAT just because of what he did on the basketball court?
Yes or no?
Exactly Son, he got owned by Jam who showed that people were considering jordan as GOAT even before those rings, so his response was "I said best player, GOAT is not the same!!!". Son, you have to forgive him, he's not very smart. Maybe people should start putting "In Basketball" after they post "GOAT", so he won't confuse it with Golf, or car racing, because lord knows that's what it could mean when discussing Jordan on a basketball court, right?
His mvps, championships, finals mvps, all nba honors, gold medals, basketball skill, and impact to a team is what makes him goat. All the rest is just media hype.
Simple question and nobody can answer it??
Was Michael Jordan the GOAT just because of what he did on the basketball court?
Are you saying yes or no to the question? Am I understanding that you are saying YES?
Was Michael Jordan the GOAT just for what he did on the basketball court?
I'll tell you now. Jordan was the GOAT for what he did on the basketball and what he did to influence the sport in general. From his brilliant marketing appeal to the masses and to everyone wanting to be like Mike.
If LeBron ever becomes accepted as "the best player ever"; that does not mean that he will be the GOAT.

Your response is quite amusing. I'm not going to bite since im not interested in whatever circular reasoning you might come up with. Someone else will have to try to convince you since it's 2 am. Make a poll tomorrrow if you are still convinced you're right. Question should be does greatest basketball player in the history of the planet and goat mean the same thing. Looks like others have tried to convince you already but for some odd reason, you are completely dead set that they are not so me arguing with you wont accomplish anything.
7 pages of discussion because of Allanon's out of the world comments.
I know. The answer to that question kills your argument.
Such a simple question has to be avoided like the plague says alot
Was Jordan recognized as the best player in 1993? Perhaps.
Was Jordan the GOAT in 1993? No.
Next!
lol, no wonder you think you never lost an argument.
Anybody that thinks Jordan was the GOAT in 1993 is just plain crazy
Like I said DAF, there is a distinction between "the GOAT" and "the best player". I understand English isn't your first language so I won't poke fun at you for it and it was probably translated wrong into your language.
But I think most that understand the english know it's not the same thing and would agree upon this:
Was Jordan recognized as "the best player" in 1993? Perhaps.
Was Jordan recognized as "the GOAT" in 1993? No.

I'm bored, so...
Dude why are you pulling the "English isn't your first language" card when US posters have called you out on this too.
English may not be my first language but I'm very confident that saying "the best player in the history of the planet" is pretty much the same as saying "the greatest player of all time".
Ok, let's leave out the Argentina for you. Look at the "Americans". You noticed they ALL don't answer "Yes" or "No" when I ask them these simple questions:
Was Michael Jordan recognized as the GOAT only because of what he did on the court?
or
Was Michael Jordan recognized as the GOAT in 1993?
They all know the answer proves me right; that's why they don't answer. Look for yourself.
How about you, can you answer those questions?![]()
allanon knows that Greatest Of All Time includes future time, therefore it is impossible for the GOAT to be anyone but Kobe Bryant, obviously. Kobe only has to play for another 25-30 years to match Jordan's MVPs, Finals MVPs, scoring les, DPOY, ROY, etc. Its just a matter of time guys.
