Is there any other team in the NBA that plays only one center?

You should try and watch a New York Knicks game.

The Spurs do not actually have a center on their team

It's just something that popped into my mind, I don't watch other teams much.

Considering Curry is injured and won't be with them next year, New York doesn't have a center either. And their "star player" trying to play that position isn't a seven footer like Timmy. David Lee is 6'9. Jonathan Bender and Danilo Gallinari are the only two on the team over 6'9 and Bender is a power forward that sucks. Gallinari is a small forward that can shoot threes wee wee.

Do you mean, has only one true Center in their rotation? Or 1 center on their team?

The only good team that only plays 1 "natural" big man on the floor at a time is Orlando, but they can get away with it because of Howard being in his prime and being the best defensive anchor in the NBA..he's pretty much a 1-man defense..

The Warriors don't count, the Rockets have no choice, the Knicks suck..

The first. At this point I consider Duncan more of a center than PF. Otherwise Spurs don't play with a center, like someone mentioned.

Unless Dampier's back Dallas only has 1 center in their rotation and before they got Haywood they didn't have any.

I don't think of centers and power forwards. I think of high post and low post.

The Spurs have Duncan and Blair in the low post. McDyess and Bonner in the high post. Actually, Bonner is damn near a perimeter player.

On the defensive end, yeah it would be nice to have another 7 footer. But I don't care if that 7 footer is a center. He can be another Bonner on offense for all I care.

Wasn't sure who you were talking about, the Spurs or Thunder. The Thunder have a lot of length, but Krstic is the only big man that got minutes tonight (Green spends a lot of time on the perimeter). That's probably one reason why we've had success against them this season, both teams play small.
