The Lakers are #1 in the West until someone knocks them off in the playoffs. I just think it has a much higher chance of happening this season
home court + big frontline will still be problems for Mavs come playoffs if they were to meet the Lakers.

2nd game of a back-to-back really showed Kobe went and used his energy last night. The moves made by the Mavericks were better than Jamison to the Cavs because it helps shore up the defense and unlike JHoward, Caron will be steady. Disappointed? Yes. But in reality 43-15 is still pretty solid. This Sunday is a big game for the Lakers.
