Cavs finally got over the hump in Boston. In the past I would have been fuming but I have accepted this teams fate for sometime. Nice to see my boy Leon Powe return. It is going to be real tough for him to get minutes with all the stud bigmen the Cavs have. Hickson is a beast. Mo Williams is going to be a stud for the Cavs in the playoffs. He will get SEVERAL wide open 3's as well as all their other shooters.

When did you realize that Boston was done? After last season's playoffs?

I had some false hope in the preseason/start of the season but that quickly faded. I realized KG was never going to be the same again after that injury last year in Utah. A gimpy KG=window closed for good.

NO. But they are a playoff team in the East without Lebron. I mean, if the ing Milwaukee Bucks are in the seed right now, I dont see why the Cavs could'nt make it without Bron.

With Boston fading away into the sunset, they will still be my team. They were my team all these years and I am not turning away from them. That being said, I really want the Cavs to win it all this year and the next few years after that. They win it this year, they will be a dynasty if Hickson continues to emerge.

I rooted for the Celtics over the Lakers in 08. It sucks that the team has fallen off so fast.

What do you guys think of Leon Powe's role in Cleveland as opposed to his role in Boston?

It was bound to happen. When you risk everything for 3 players already in their 30's, the window is at best 2 years. Add injuries with age and it gets nasty.

Personally I love Powe. The guy was my favorite Celt during his time here and he is an awesome person himself. I have met him numerous times and have both the home and away jerseys of him along with 2 auto graphed jersey's.

As for your question, it is going to be tough for Powe to get consistent minutes with Hickson/Jamison/Varajeo/Shaq/Z all in the rotation. He is just coming off a torn acl but I can see Brown using him as a situational player as the season goes on. The guy is a solid role player who busts his ass off.

LOL boston..If games were only 24 minutes they would be a pretty damn good team hahaha..They remind me of the Spurs. Play well then completely fall apart in the 3rd & 4th quarter..Oh well Bostonfan, 1 ring every 20 years aint too bad.

Considering I was around for that only ring means a lot to me. I got into basketball the 1994-1995 season. Orlando spanked us in 4 games.
