And then you asked for specific word of mouth proof that another team would have offered more. And then I say I don't have audio tapings of another general manager confirming he would have given more. And then you claim scoreboard.

Sure...I want proof that some team offered more.... , I'll just be happy with an oft repeated rumor.
Here are the facts that we do know:
#1. The Spurs had him in their system for 5 years.
#2. There was friction between the Spurs and Scola.
#3. They wanted to move him. Period.
You add those up and the evidence points to Scola wanting out, or the Spurs not wanting him. Obviously...and if we know that...you think the other teams don't know that?
Add in the fact that everyone but Isiah Thomas is afraid of the Spurs FO...and I just don't see all your scenarios being that realistic.
