If he would of passed it behind the 3pt line and Frye ran by the ball I'd agree. There was nothing preventing Nash from seeing where he was throwing the ball.

Nash threw the ball inside the 3 pt line. The player that catches the ball will NOT catch it outside the 3pt line. It doesn't matter where the player was when he threw it. Nash knew it was going to be caught inside the 3pt line when he threw it.

It was a dumb pass, because it's highly unlikely that Frye would get the shot off in time.
But Frye accomplishes almost nothing by going for the rebound in that situation, so he should have stayed outside the line.

There's nothing to watch again. You throw the ball inside the 3pt line when nothing short of a 3pt helps you, it's YOUR fault 100% of the time.
It's the equivelent of fouling someone shooting a 3pt when you have a 4pt lead with 1 second left. There's ZERO reward to doing so.

He made a mistake that cost his team the game. It happens, it was bad judgement on his part and the thread le is a little harsh. NBA players make mistakes, it's a part of the game. Nash is a very smart player but he goofed that last play. It's all about what they are feeling out there in the heat of the moment, he felt that Frye would be ready to take the 3.
But but he once kicked a basketball like a hacky sack in a dunk contest.
I'm as big a Nash basher as anyone, but no way he cost them the game, as it still would have taken a near-miracle to send it to OT. Having said that, not shooting the ball was a bad mistake.
