I just love stoking the fire. Deron missed 2 free throws to tie the game against the Clippers with 16 seconds to go in the 4th. This was after Utah came back from a double digit deficit late in the 4th. Now he turns the ball over to basically end the game. Sons deron williams is no Chris Paul.

Every player has a bad game. Sometimes you miss two free throws. Sometimes you make a bad pass. Sometimes you miss a wide open dunk when your team is down 2.
He choked before that too..he took the foul from Davis on a layup instead of passing it off to Korver or Kirilenko for the easy 2, they were trailing behind him..
He got fouled on the turnover though, bad no-call..
the Clippers had a MASSIVE choke job to let Utah back in it, unbelievable choking..
Of course Williams just hit a three to make me look like somewhat of a jackass. Still, he lost his team the game.
The Clips were up by 12 with 2:29 left. Baron Davis was choking much harder than DWill was.
Son no one compares Beardon Davis to CP3. Get yer head on strate.

I thought he was fouled in that bad pass to Boozer. Plus, it only mattered because he got that And1 to close the gap to 2 points with 30 something seconds to go.
Doesn't really matter. When you've got two freebies to tie the game with 16 seconds and you miss BOTH, you're no crowned son of Nawlins.
sons he also pretty much lost the All Star game for the West this year too. he choked big time in the final minutes of the game (which he had no business being in that late to begin with). remember the stupid early foul he committed on purpose that gave away 2 free points? lol Dirks reaction to that was classic. then right after that on the second to last possession for the West he had the ball stripped from him and turned it over once again. great player. there is absolutely no doubt about that, but some people around here over rate this guy tremendously.

For once, for the fun of it, I will agree with BR. He pretty much cost Dirk a chance at the ASG MVP. Given that Dirk was only playing hard because the game was in Dallas, and that he will never again attempt more than 3-4 shots, this was his only chance at that award. No he was pissed at Deron.
p.s I still rate him quite highly, there are things I think he does better than CP3, but I always like this debate
