Because you only watch your team and never games that don't involve your team.![]()
Are you saying watching quality does not help one learn more? I mean, it is like school. You go to Harvard and you are likely smarter than someone who goes to community college even though you are both in school.
Also no one ever watches the Spurs. z0sa is the only one!
I'm saying I watched the same quality playoff basketball as Lakerfan and Spurfan did.
That's the wrong analogy. It's like saying you only check out ty books from the library and not the classics. No matter what team you root for, you have access to League Pass, live streams via the Internet, and then the playoffs if your team isn't involved. A true student of the game wouldn't consign himself to only watching his team play, whether that's the Lakers or the Nets. How are you expected to have informed opinions of other teams and other players? His premise is that you don't have access to watching quality, championship-caliber basketball, and that's wrong.
To answer your question DPG, yes, someone who has watched every Spurs game since 2005 and nothing else would know more about basketball than someone who has watched every Suns game and nothing else since 2005. That's rarely the case.

It took almost 400 posts but we finally have a legitimate NBA champion in this thread, thank you JJ.
Only thing I dislike about this thread is that DoK dumped Laker fans and Spurs fans in one group. Good job otherwise.
I am just saying, I live in Dallas, and I know most of my friends who are Mav fans don't really watch much else.
God Blake you are one dumb mother er.
you're the one that feels lucky to be on the board with JJ, not me.
I don't even know what to say to this. I'm awed at your lack of brain cells.
Don't you feel lucky to be posting in the same board some NBA players post?
JJ, A.Randolph, Dragic, we're blessed to have those guys sharing their wisdom in here.
Im awed at you feeling lucky to be posting on the same board as JJ, who you think is a 2010 NBA champ.
People like DoK and dirk have no idea the excitement I get when I rub one out to Fisher hitting that shot in game 4.
I dunno. There was some premature rubbing going on in SA when Duncan hit the shot over Shaq with .4 left to go
Dude that Duncan shot had me on the verge of breaking our 50inch. Then FISHER OUT OF ING NOWHERE. Oh god what a day that was.
I suppose this question wasn't answered while I was gone?
