They need to go 16-8 otherwise the Spurs won't reach the 50 mark for the first time since Duncan was drafted 13 years ago...
small ball and the French NT !

I see it as highly unlikely to hit 50.
have you seen at our remaining schedule??? BRUTAL, BRUTAL
If we hit 50 or even 49 it would be an amazing accomplishment. I am guessing we are probably gonna end up with 46-48 wins.

my bad dude
Argentina NT as well.
OMG remaining schedule looks like Spurs worst nightmare!!!!!
24 games remaining and we have 11 TOUGH, TOUGH, TOUGH games. We could easily lose:
@ CLE
@ ORL
@ ATL
vs LAL
vs CLE
@ BOS
vs ORL
@ LAL
@ PHO
@ DEN
@ DAL
it would take a superhuman effort to get 50 wins
ouch... so Duncan is officially leading a -50 wins team for the 1st time of his career... :-(
but if we win the majority of these games at the end of the year right before the playoffs we would be rocking and looking like we have a chance against the Lakers in the post-season.
# of games vs. leading records in the league:
1. CLE - 2
2. LA - 2
3. ORL - 2
4. DAL - 1
5. DEN - 1
6. ATL - 1
7. BOS - 1
8. UTA - 0
9. PHO - 1
10. OKC - 1
total = 12
current record vs. leading records in the league:
1. CLE - 0-0
2. LA - 1-1
3. ORL 0-0
4. DAL 1-2
5. DEN 1-2
6. ATL 1-0
7. BOS 0-1
8. UTA 0-4
9. PHO 1-1
10. OKC 2-1
total = 7-12
After analysing this a little more, I think we have a decent chance to get 50 wins. If we go by logic, we are probably going to win around 15 games. If Spurs just improve a little more, 16 wins is doable![]()
Reaching 50 wins with the remaining schedule would be pretty amazing. But all things come to an end at some time or other; last year marked the first first-round exit with Duncan playing, after all.
Was Duncan playing in last year's playoffs? I didn't notice.
16-8! No problem i believe
Look at Golden State or Miami did they believe that the pussy team up north was better than them?
NO they whipped their asses!
![]()
it can happen. if they continue to play like the last couple games and if rj is actually going to play aggressive offense, it can happen. that being said, it's not likely, but i believe![]()
50-32
i believe!!! Go spurs go
TOP10 teams vs. each other: Cavs (12-6), Nuggs (16-8), Mavs (14-10),LAL (14-10),Magic(10-9),Jazz (11-13),Suns (9-11),Hawks (9-12),OKC (9-13),Celts (6-13)
% versus TOP10: DEN (66.6%), CLE (66.6%), LAL (58%), DAL (58%), ORL (52%), JAZZ (45.8%), SUNS (45%), ATL (42%), OKC (40%), BOS (31%)
Note: we are at #11 spot.
This is what i like about this schedule, this will flat out show us what we can expect in the playoffs.
If we get to 50 wins or more, then we should be a threat in the playoffs
another note:
looks like Spurs are gonna have an early 5 game playoff series to test themselves.
they will play:
ATL
OKC
LAL
CLE
BOS
in 7 days. after that week, we will know what we can expect from Spurs
50 wins is not out of reach, but they MUST handle their business over the next 2 weeks, build some momentum, than hopefully earn some splits with the more powerful teams later in the month
upcoming stretch:
vs NO W
@ MEM W
@ CLE L
vs NY W
@ MIN W
vs LAC W
@ MIA W
@ ORL L
vs GS W
that would put them at 41-26 heading into the last 15 games. During that stretch of 15 we must win the following games
@OKC
@NJ
@SAC
@PHX
vs MEM
vs MN
thats 47 wins. the other 3 have to come from a win over a power team, BOS, ATL, LAL, CLE, ORL.
easy no...doable...YES
50-32. I believe.
If there ever was a time for this squad to get crackin', it's now.
nice recap of the remaining games. I would call it doable too if there were not so many back to back
