lol this is so wrong ... being old and not being warmed-up and challenging a young warmed-up player AND thinking you'll win ... no reasoning what so ever.
Gerald Henderson is better than Michael Jordan at H-O-R-S-E
By Trey Kerby
Maybe LeBron James(notes) should change his jersey number to 15. After all, that's what number Gerald Henderson(notes) wears, and he just beat Michael Jordan in H-O-R-S-E. Twice.
From the AP:
One of Michael Jordan's first acts since reaching a deal to buy the Charlotte Bobcats: losing two games of H-O-R-S-E to guard Gerald Henderson.Sporting his ever-present jeans, Jordan missed jumper after jumper on his way to losing both games to a rookie who is shooting less than 34 percent from the field. Egads!
A trash-talking Jordan attended the Bobcats' shootaround Monday morning before their game against Dallas, challenging the rookie Henderson to a shooting compe ion after the workout.
Even worse, Henderson is from Duke, which makes the losses even more painful for Jordan, a University of North Carolina alum. And while Jordan's shooting might not be championship quality, his trash talk still is.
"You've got to miss eventually," Henderson told him.Zing! Except Henderson was right. Jordan did eventually miss.
"That's what Cleveland said," replied Jordan, referring to his last-second shot for Chicago in 1989 to win a playoff series over the Cavaliers.
Reverse zing!

This mentality got him 6 rings.
Jordan will be 80 years old on a wheelchair, and still trash talk you to the ground and say he can beat you
lol love MJ
Jordan was already sucking when he was playing for the Wiz. and he knew it.
he was obviously joking around with HIS young guard
I don't think he was joking. I think Michael thinks if he trained hard enough for like a few months, he could play in the NBA right now and be good. Maybe he's realistic enough to know he wouldn't be one of the best players in the league anymore, but in his reality, he'd be better than a rookie bench scrub like Henderson. I don't know what age will be old enough for Michael to think he couldn't still be a legitimate NBA star. 50? I don't think so. 60? Maybe.
If he ever does end up in a wheelchair, God forbid, he'll either get himself up out of it or have someone prop him up long enough to continue taking on young suckas, who dare to talk smack to the great one.
Love live MJ's compe ive fire.
