I wonder how many tea-bagger jobs that cost Rush?t took almost a year, but Limbaugh has put his 5th Avenue penthouse on the market for a cool $13.95 million.
The full-floor apartment comes with four terraces, 10-rooms, "oversized" tubs, and handpainted murals throughout.
I'm glad that Rush has been able to live the American dream, and this penthouse is evidence of it. He's just passing it on to another hard working American, and in great shape too!
Do you realize it's easier for Rush to just go on vacation and travel the world, but he instead chooses to enlighten us and serve as a voice for Americans fed up with Obama's mistakes over the last decade of his administration? Rush has been there for all of it, proudly carrying our banner and taking names at every turn.

Sadly, that is the American dream. Americans don't want to eliminate the crooks on Wall Street who sent our nation into a tailspin while getting enormous bonuses and scamming the taxpayer. They just want to be them. That apartment is a perfect illustration of the national religion of consumption and -measuring via inanimate crap that we're brought up to believe life is all about.

Ok, so I believe that Rush is a vile, hate-spewing, poor excuse for a human being (and a hypocrite), but you are angry because he is rich? Are some pictures of some ugly apartment the catalyst for some sort of realization for you? Of course he's rich. Shoot, Lisle and Hahn on 99.5 probably make more money than us with probably 1/500 of the listeners. I am not mad that he is rich. We all know he is, maybe he should buy some taste though. The only time when a comment or thread like this should even be opened is if he talked about a vow of poverty over and over again, then moved into something like this.

Well, we did get a thread about wealthy Dem Congress people being "the party of the poor"
so pointing out that Rush (and pitbull , and Beckkk) is super-wealthy "elite" who loves to trash "elites" is fair play.
Ok, just so we don't have to go talking about bank accounts anymore. The super-duper wealthy, masters of the universe are overwhelmingly Democrats. The next level down is populated mainly by republicans. The far reaches of the upper middle class is mixed leaning republican. Middle class is pretty even, and the poor is primarily democratic, but *I think* its closer than what everyone thinks. These are just from articles that I have read posted on here mainly during the 2008 election. The only two that I "made up were the bottom two based on my own experiences which I realize is a small sample size so dispute them if you must. Point is, there are rich republicans and rich democrats.
