The question is...if the Spurs somehow wind up in the lottery and win, do they take John Wall, or do they go with a SF or big like Turner or Favors?

    What a wonderfully improbable hypothetical...but I'll bite.

Spurs would probably trade back a spot or two, pick up a future first rounder and still draft Evan Turner.

As much as I love John Wall, the Spurs are in a win-now mode and the PG that gives them the best chance is Parker. They could draft Turner, slot him in at SG and never upset the balance.

Agreed...trading the pick would probably bring the most value. With the forward depth in this draft, they could also try to talk whatever team they swapped picks with to also swap a late first for the Spurs second. For example, Nets have multiple first round picks and a very early second round pick. If the Spurs could talk them into trading the second overall pick and thier 23rd pick for the first and the 50th pick it could wind up being a very sweet deal. The Nets pick again at 31, so it's not a huge loss for them and they get another second round pick.
