That trade was resonating and definitely, as of right now, is better than Antwan Jamison to the Cavs. They'll probably be vying for the opposite spot for the WCF since they'll probably face Denver in the 2nd round. Look, I don't mean to sound like I'm counting chickens. On this end we still need to see when Shaq comes back and what kind of shape he's in when he does. We also need to see if Charlotte makes it as the eighth seed and how far Orlando gets. To me those are the two East teams with the best, if not the only, chance to knock out the Cavaliers before the Finals.
On your end, I'd be very, very concerned with both Denver and Dallas. Denver because of their great athleticism, physicality and scoring ability and Dallas because of their great depth and versatility. Those teams are extremely dangerous for Los Angeles.

Well, I'm not sure ALL are as open to talk to about things like I am, but its quite simple. Dallas is on a roll right now and will only solidify its standing when there is more playing time. I'm disappointed in the lack of effort on the part of the Lakers. It is concerning, but to be arrogant is a detrimen to rational discussion.

Then, well, I don't know what to tell you. To think that way is foolish and really, anti-sports. I want a challenge for the Lakers. If they win it all again...sweet! I'll be ecstatic and celebrating in Downtown L.A. again this June. But that's not a guarantee and shouldn't be thrown around like it is. They're not invinceable and if they happen to go down then it wasn't meant to be. I guess some Laker fans grow arrogant on that they don't know how it is to deal with success. But, there is also tons of fans that are knowledgeable and respectful fans.

Culburn alone makes the Lakers the worst fan base ever. I might argue on the internet a lot but if I were to ever encounter Culburn in real life I'd savor the opportunity to beat that shriveled up piece of into a bloody pulp.

Seriously, the Mavs did make some nice additions and they are playing well. However, it is too early to say what kind of impact they will make against the elite. Lets see what they do now that the excitement of the trade is wearing down. It's a long way to go.
As far as feeling threatened by Dallas? Not at all. I know in the playoffs that at their best, the Lakers are second to none in the playoffs. Dallas? Who knows. Lakers in 5
