I thought Perseus also turned in a pretty good performance, actually. Saldana is the only of the two that I could have seen getting a nomination, but the two of them were the only things about Avatar (other than the special effects) that were anything above mediocre.

I'm going to admit my homerdom and say I saw avatar a second time. And I fully agree....Zoe was probably the single most strongest element in the movie from the performer standpoint. She was amazing for what Cameron was trying to do with that technology. She was like built to act in his new techno 3d movie scheme. And yes she is uber hot.
