Ian for Best Dressed for sure!
With the season getting closer to the end, I thought I'd ask you folks for your thoughts on if any Spurs will win NBA awards this season? And do they deserve them?
George Hill: Any shot for Most Improved?
Dejuan Blair: Won't win Rookie of the Year, but how high do you see him in the voting?
Manu Ginobili: With his second half rally any chance at Sixth Man of the Year?
Tim Duncan: Will he make the All NBA and All Defensive Teams again? If so, first team, second team, etc?
And, of course, will Ian Mahinimi win NBA Best Dressed for all his time in a suit?
Thoughts?
Ian for Best Dressed for sure!
Duncan will make an All-NBA team, probably 2nd team as he has the last couple years.
Other than that, don't count on it. Manu will lose to someone who had a better all-around year, and Blair will lose to someone with more minutes per game (though he might be top 5 in the voting).
Pop will not win Coach of the Year.
J Crawford of the Hawks will be winning 6th man, Manu should be either 2nd or 3rd though if he keeps up his play.
Tim will probably make 2nd team all NBA, and perhaps 2nd for Defense as well.
GHill won't take Most Improved, although with Tony out the rest of the season is his chance to make his case.
DeJuan getting disrespected at the All star game leads me to believe it could happen again. With all the rookie pgs kicking so much ass this season DeJuan should be proud to have a top 5 finish.
Tony Parker: Most cursed player of the year!
Matt Bonner : +/- player of the year!
td on both 2nd teams all nba and defensive
blair at leasts top3 in voting for ROY
All NBA 2nd team and All defensive 1st team for TD and that's it for los spurs...
As for the rest,
MVP: Lebron James
MIP: Kevin Durant (or Richard Jefferson)
ROY: Tireke Evans
DPY: Dwight Howard
6th man: Jason Terry
COY: Mike Woodson
Spurs rarely win awards in good years, and this isn't one.
Actually this season, I'm a little worried that Duncan's all NBA status will be in jeopardy.
Lebron is a lock for 1st team..
Then Dirk/Caremlo/Durant/Bosh and Duncan are fighting it out for the other forward spots. If you get some weird voting for someone like Zach Randolph (I'm gagging right now) or Gasol, it could push Duncan down.
Blair will make the all-rookie 2nd team at least.

6th man will probably go to Jamal Crawford. I also like Scott Brooks for COY.
Blair will be looking up at Tyreke Evans, Stephen Curry and Brandon Jennings as far as ROY goes.
I don't think Timmy will be on any all-defense teams either, and probably will be on All-NBA 3rd team unless he can get the Spurs up to the 5th seed or something like that.
blair all rookie 1st team, td all nba 2nd team, all defense 1st team, ghill all defense 2nd team,
6th man may yet go to carl landry for his 1st half performance
Tony Parker Best Dressed for 2nd half of the season.
Seriously, Tim is probably All NBA 2nd team and All Defensive 1st or 2nd team. Blair will get a mention, as he should.
Duncan will be all-NBA 2nd or 3rd..he won't make D though, although I think he should make the 2nd team based on the stats..
I hope Blair beats out Jennings. That guy (jennings) is a turnover machine, makes decisions like a rookie, and shoots veeerry poorly if he isn't shooting okay. Awful FG%. T Evans has been great and overall very consistent.
Pop will win DPOY aka Dumbest person of the Year.
I heard one of the Spurs has a good shot at Centerpiece of the Year.
finley has a shot at nba championship O.o?
Blair All Rookie 1st Team.
Championship
Manu Playoff MVP.
Well, if the Spurs continue playing like now, each player will have the opportunity of winning one of these trophies
Be optimistic, doing well
Mason is regularly mentioned around the league

QUOTE OF THE NIGHT
"LeBron wasn't playing, Jamison didn't play the second half and Shaq wasn't there. We blew a big one."
-- Spurs guard Manu Ginobili, who had a season-high 38 points in the loss to Cleveland
