My gf and I didn't attend, we proceeded directly to the house party to get ed up. Probably half of our friends did the same thing. When her parents asked why we didn't get any pictures done, we told em' that the line was too long and that we'd rather save the money anyway. (Which we spent on beer and bud for said house party)

My date (a male friend) and I got loaded in the parking lot, went in, took the picture (you can tell we were wasted ) so my mom would know we actually went there after she spent so much money on my dress. We danced one dance and split ... went back to party at a friend's house, where my boyfriend at the time was waiting.
