Health.
Why is Manu playing so damn well?
I honestly do not know the answer.
This was meant to be a poll
i think your opinion falls under the umbrella of option 2.
I agree, he's gotten his health back. It has never been a question of lack of motivation with Manu. Anyone that says otherwise doesn't know who Manu is.
For real???
Manu has always played with heart and not for a contract!
Another good Manu question is "Will he resign with the Spurs?"
Manu doesn't play for a contract. If he cared more about money, he wouldn't be playing for the spurs. Regardless of the results, he always gives 110%.
Check his face when the game is on the line and you will see a ferocious compe or.
It is more than picking up the slack. Too facile.
He gives his best every night and some nights, when it is necessary, he raises the level of his "best" to do whatever it takes to win.
It is a rare force of character found in some super-stars. Michael Jordan had it. So did Magic and John Havlicek among others.

lol is serious thread serious? And who the voted for the first option
you honestly don't know? maybe watch a game sometime.
Manu Ginobili is a 'bad boy' and the epitome of integrity. If he doesn't retire a Spur it would be a horrible shame.
lol cant be faded, lol no public poll option ...
You could make a reasonable argument that he's playing to remain a Spur and get re-signed -- thus, playing for a contract.
Uh both? He wants to show the Spurs he still has game left in him AND he's also playing with confidence now that he's healthy
I wonder who did vote for the contract option.... only 1 person believes that. Is that person not a Spurs fan?

It doesn't really matter, as long as he keeps playing like this.
Going by this poll so far. A few still don't know Manu Ginobili.
You beat me to it ...![]()
Manu plays damn well cause he's a damn good player
No one should be 'fooled.' Manu is playing hard for his next contract. Although it seems likely he'll be a Spur forever, nothing is guaranteed.
But in truth, Manu only has two gears: hard and harder, which he employs regardless of situation. So really, it's both.
