Saying Billups lacks a reliable midrange jumper is like saying Kidd lacks a reliable long range shot. Also, nothing funny about saying Kidd lacks Billups killer instinct on offense. LMAO, Melo does not compete on both ends of the floor day in and out. People still have Playoffs in their minds because ain't no way he's playing that sort of defense this season on a consistent basis. I've continued to see piss poor effort from him every game, sure he'll have spurts where he'll play great defense but those are a few and far.Melo is a well-rounded and complete player now. I don't know about him making an All-Defense team, but he plays and competes on both ends of the floor now. After being dumb and immature, I think he gets it now. My contention is that they can't survive Melo shooting poorly because that's what he does best. If Billups is shooting poorly, he's still taking care of the ball and running the offense and doing an excellent job of managing the game. There's a baseline that is always going to be there with Billups' floor game.
