    Yep.

Why won't anyone comment on it? I keep saying it but not one person here seems to acknowledge my posts about it.

He has been destroyed by all the elite PGs this season defensively. Tp has done a superior job against most of these guys when he's healthy. TP has managed to contain them at times.
If Hill is getting destroyed so badly then why has the teams' overall defense shot up the charts since TP has been sitting out?

I commented the same thing on a thread that was about hill---already being superior to parker on defense...a couple of posters agreed---and I disagreed---i love hill---

but i don't think he is anywhere near as good as parker---when parker is healthy and engaged in the game...
It seems he traded defense for offense coming into this season.

Watching Hill vs. Davis is like watching Pierce and the bigger wings against Prince; they get into the body and exploit their lesser stop-and-go ability.

Hill's a different kind of defender and what you think you see isn't necessarily what's always really going on; if he's getting up into someone to disrupt timing, hurry his opponent or directing them to help, it looks like he's getting beat (which isn't necessarily the case).

He's got work to do and he has his fair share of miscues and lapses, but it's nowhere near as bad as some think.

Could it be that DeJuan is missing Manu? I haven't seen the last three games. How much playing time have these two seen together since Manu went to the starting lineup?

I thought at the start of the season that Hill is a superior defender to TP, but the last couple of months I think Hill's D has slipped. Now that I know TP was injured I have changed my opinion.

I decided to step back and look at TP's defense when he is healthy and also look at George's defense when healthy and TP has been able to contain some of these guys whereas Hill has been destroyed badly at times the last couple of months by these guys.

I want to see George pick up his defense. He is capable of playing a lot better on the defensive end.

I only commented on the issue---of whether hill is ALREADY---better DEFENSIVELY---than parker---I disagreed...

but did not slam hill or mention anything about the overall defensive comparison of the team...

Sucks i cant watch the game.. but looks like malik is playing well again from the stat sheet.

Anyways, for those who are in college and is currently going thru finals week.. GL.
Malik again showing his quickness. He has a tough defensive assignment with Outlaw but has played good defense.

Hill's D is usually good when he doesn't have a large load offensively..when he has a larger offensive role like he has when he replaced TP for stretches, his D has been pretty poor IMO..he's a good defender overall, and you'll see it again when Parker is back in the lineup..

There aren't too many players that can be good offensive players at PG/SG and play consistent D at the same time..especially at the PG position, where it's difficult enough to play D as it is..

That might be it Harlem. George's defense was awesome when he was doing hardly anything on offense. I can believe one reason for his drop in defense has been that he is now way better offensively and playing a bigger role on that end of the court.
