Made up bull from one of Yoni's blogs? No, surely not.
The Sestak stonewall
"...the Obama administration may have broken the law by offering Rep. Joe Sestak a job in order to persuade him not to mount a primary challenge against Sen. Arlen Specter."
Made up bull from one of Yoni's blogs? No, surely not.

This could be bad. It sounds like Rahm Emmanuel and Jim Messina could be involved. Sestak's on-air saying that this happened and that it was quid pro quo. While Michael Steele and John Boehner must be frothing over this, Darrell Issa is doing his job. There's no way you let someone go on National Television and say this and not investigate, unless it is completely baseless. I am only hearing about this tonight, but this Politco story was written on 3.10.2010. Politically speaking, this is breaking in an election year and I doubt we'll get through this scandal without hearing Tom Blagovich's name and Eric Massa's assertions in reference to a "where there's smoke, there's fire" story.

lol, nothing will come of this. Non-News. Yawn.
Wow! Two YouTubes!
This is serious!
The story hasn't really hit yet. That's the testimony that he's told the press the White House committed a crime. This isn't serious?
How can Chicago Mafia style politics be illegal?
This thread has really drawn the lines between the real progressives and the Obamabots.
At first it looked like Yoni prematured, but you inserted your foot in your mouth.
Even if it's true, what could happen?
What law was broken?
Be specific.

all ethics aren't necessarily law, who says anybody is going to be in jail.
Anything can happen. You could do something unethical yet legal. mark foley didn't break any laws did he? yet he was asked to step down.
This is politics, you don't have to break the law to lose your job.
Republicans are calling it a crime.
What's the crime?
I'd say, in this case, it's "necessarily law."
http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/18...5----000-.htmlLE 18 > PART I > CHAPTER 29 > § 595

head spent 8 years sealing off the Exec branch, including papers of past presidencies, under bogus "executive privilege" and to protect "national security".
Nary a peep from extreme partisan/petty anklebiter Yoni.
so basically this means that anyone who is employed with the fedral govt cannot offer anyone anyone a job in the exchnage for a vote. if anyone was stupid enough to do this then they deserve to lose thier job. while against the law, does this require an inquisition?Whoever, being a person employed in any administrative position by the United States, or by any department or agency thereof, or by the District of Columbia or any agency or instrumentality thereof, or by any State, Territory, or Possession of the United States, or any political subdivision, municipality, or agency thereof, or agency of such political subdivision or municipality (including any corporation owned or controlled by any State, Territory, or Possession of the United States or by any such political subdivision, municipality, or agency), in connection with any activity which is financed in whole or in part by loans or grants made by the United States, or any department or agency thereof,
let me guess..this all obama's fault..![]()
I'd settle for an investigation...and, a prosecution, if anyone is found to have violated the law.
"I'd settle for an investigation...and, a prosecution, if anyone is found to have violated the law."
Just like you buddy dubya said he would prosecute anybody who outed a covert agent, but of course never did.
wow. Chump got caked with manyonaise in this thread by a Con and a Lib.
Hey, I asked a question and it got answered. I seriously did not know.
As much as you fantasize about me, you should know that I actually want answers to the questions I ask. You wouldn't know that because you run away and never answer them.
Now we get to the point of whether any accusation can be proved.
Good luck with that.
Why don't you tell the whole story. Because the real story makes you look like an ass....
Like i said, you prematured, and got owned by darrin and Yoni the first time.
So quit whining, shut your mouth and do your jowb!
Ah, more fantasizing by you. Sorry, you're not my type.
Nah, it's a he said-no one said situation. If it goes to trial, you can celebrate. As it is, it's not much of anything.
I don't usually like to repeat my posts but clearly the message hasn't been accepted and it needs to; therefore I will.
lol, nothing will come of this. Non-News. Yawn.
Exactly. I wouldn't even doubt that this or any administration would do something like this -- it's just that the burden of proof would be such that getting a conviction would be nearly impossible.
Furthermore, no one outside the blogosphere would care.
