actually you remind me more of the kid from "This is England" similar story too, except I'm guessing you didn't become a skinhead.![]()
Hill has had the same gigantic hands and long arms since he was like 8

awesome pictures, thanks jay, loving GH3 more everyday
I honestly think sometimes Pop is loosing his mojo for coaching but for detecting talents he and his team are the best.
Nah i lost 70 pounds not long after that.. and became a solid ball player, mainly from getting stuffed by georges 80 foot wingspan my whole child hood... im marrying a model, i've came a long way since Piggy 97' ... me and my fiance got a good laugh off that though.. I actually saw the similarity .. it was classic.
Pretty cool that you've been in here since draft day having Georgie's back. Best to your pop; hope he recovers soon.
THANKS alot man, ya when he got drafted by the spurs I immediately went searching for what spurs fans were saying about the pick and found ST immediately.. and I knew they were going to be saying who the is that. and wanted to give my input on his potential..
Glad im back as much as I can be.. these boards are great interaction, I missed the commentary of every little detail.
+1
So I'm guessing George is cool with all the pics and insight you've been posting?
the pics are just representing what he and I told Ken... if he doesn't like it he can yell at me later... I don't see anything really private about the commentary, he knows I was up on here trying to quell the hating when he was drafted.. not sure if he comes on these forums or not these days.. hes pretty hard to get in touch with.
Now that's what you call articles.
Props to Ken Rodriguez and spursdotcom for publishing the story.
George is such an awesome person.
Nah, I wasn't implying you were doing anything out of line ... I was just wondering if you two had discussed what he'd be cool with sharing; having a childhood friend/family member become a famous ball-player would seem to produce a little more caution and trepidation with all the vultures out there. (It's actually pretty refreshing when you find out your favorite players are real, genuine people.)
If your relationship is anything like the one I had with the friend I grew up with ... George is fortunate you haven't brought out the heavy artillery and embarrassed the out of him.
Again, all the best to your pops and you've definitely got an ally here when it comes to #3.
What other "pictures" could come out that would embarrass Hill anymore?
lol i was going to say asmuch lol.
Hopefully 5 years down the road he will be laughing at it. I know I already am![]()
Disregard . . .
Absent-minded, comprehension fail.![]()

Every so often we get a story about a Spur that makes us appreciate the Spurs organization's commitment to bringing men of character like George Hill onto the team and who become a valued part of the community, not just passing their time here as part of their job.
Just look at all the Spurs, whether superstars like David Robinson or role players like William Franklin, who have made San Antonio their permanent home and continue to contribute their time, energy, celebrity, and money to making it a better place. The list is seemingly endless.
George Hill is well on his way to becoming a part of the mutual love affair between San Antonio and the Spurs.
Here's to you George. Welcome to the Spurs family.![]()

Really. I mean, haven't we heard and seen enough of George's "rising force" already?
The Good Stuff.
Hill before the Magic game.
Anytime you're in charge of a team with Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili there's a lot on your shoulders. The expectations are high. But somebody had to step up. I wanted to be that guy, the guy who helped us win games.I felt last season that I deserved to be here, but it was just a matter of getting my feet wet. It's just basketball. I know what to expect now, and my teammates know what to expect of me.This is not intimidating. This was my dream to play in the NBA, and to be a great player with responsibility on my shoulders. I've taken that challenge with open arms.
Great pics, jayc23.
George always looked like an all-around good person and this story only further confirms it.
Not tonight es, but those are sick pictures though
Thanks for your input on the forum, and prayers to your dad and family.
My old nemesis haha
