My hubby read an article about the dangers of heating food with microwaves and wants to throw ours away. I refused and he challenged me to a debate (Wednesday, since he has a dinner to attend tonight) for the childrens' benefit so we could let them decide.This actually works to my favor, so I accepted his challenge. It's pretty simple; he gives the kids (all under the age of 10) a scientific lecture on radiolytic compounds and deformed molecules and then I tell them that when they're hungry I will no longer be able to make their chicken in 3 minutes in the microwave, it will take 20 in the oven instead. I will also inform them that since their father wants to go "natural" with their food they will no longer be allowed ketchup or bbq sauce with their chicken.
It's nice to have won something before even competing.
