true, but for the heavyweights, there's arreollo, sam peter, nikolai valuev, just a bunch of dudes that go after their oponents and swing their nuts off and hope to land a knock out. thats why i appreciate fighters like the klitchsko brothers, david haye as well who have a tremendous amount of skill and learn to take their strengths to the limit

And Wlad is an amazing fighter, he just doesn't get the hype because he is not American. Lennox Lewis got tons of from American press and fans because he was british and technical in the ring. The Heavyweight division has been bad for years, so he gets slammed for ruling a bad division. But he's still a great fighter..
Haye's mouth is way bigger than his bite. He annoys the out of me, especially when he chickened out of the Wlad fight..

HBO has been passing on many of Wlad's fights recently, something i just read. That is just sad for a fighter of his class..
and if you have seen his last few fights, you can see why. Brick wall who throws a jab the entire fight does not get HBO excited .... let's face it, the heavyweight division is garbage. 115 to 168 is where it's at in boxing right now.......
I don't see why. Wlad is a great techical fighter, i appreciate that style. Brawling may be exciting but it doesn't make great champions. Wlad does everything a great heavyweight should do in and out of the ring. He needs a big fight but he has beaten the out of everyone worth fighting, except for that loud mouth clown Haye..
We're American right? Look at boxing. Dominated by Russians and I have no problem with that. His style just doesn't make a woman's panties get wet. If he were that devastating knock out artist that say a young Tyson was, then we'd be all over Dr. Steelhammer's right now.
I love the way he uses that jab but he uses it as his primary power punch for an entire fight. No doubt he's the best heavyweight out there but when the division is voided of compe ion; and he will not fight his brother which would sell mucho tickets; and he keep kicking the out of American Heavies, just makes the big boy division a yawn fest right now.
When America's best heavyweight is Eddie Chambers, you know it's bad.
Have the fight downloaded, will need to watch at some point but I will probably crash out halfway through.
