medicare-for-absolutely-everybody public option (see Grayson's proposal as one approach) will up the for-profit insurers into niche markets of people wanting sort HSA/Flex their public option coverage(which is exactly how private insurers exist in adult countries).
single-buyer will up BigPharma's exorbitant profits spigot.
