Okay, so we keep RMJ for a little while longer, but can we please cut Bogans? Pretty please?
Now, to make it a perfect night, I would love for Bogans to serve me a warm cup of STFU.
Okay, so we keep RMJ for a little while longer, but can we please cut Bogans? Pretty please?
Centerpiece is 6-20 from the field in his last 5.5 games..his average defense isn't enough to make up for that..
Mason needed a game like this and the Spurs needed him to be able to relieve Ginobili and Hill of some minutes and some of the scoring/ball handling duties. I like the fact that even though he started slow, Pop didn't pull him, instead put the pressure on him to deliver and he's coming through.
Time for some (since Mahinmi isn't going to play) extended run for McDyess and Blair, two other guys who need to get going. They're not going to work their way out of their rut playing limited minutes. Pop needs to relent and let McDyess play a 16-18 minute half, it's not going to kill him, the guy played something like 35 mpg down the stretch for the Pistons last year and has only averaged 20 mpg this season, I think he can handle playing more minutes at this stage. What the is he being saved for anyway? There is no two month long playoff run coming.
Still can't stop anyone. Still losing games in the clutch.
At this point I'd shut TP down for the season and let him get over the pf. He doesn't suddenly make us a contender.
Go RMJ
Wow Mason, where have you been?
I never abandoned Roger. Speak for yourself.
Did Durant snitch?..
Really great season for Mason - 39.9FG - 34.7-3PT
How this guy didn't make the All Star???
He'll need to score 30pts for the next 10-20 games to give something back for 60 pathetic ones
You should. He ing blows.
Let's settle down here.
1st - It is only one half of the game. Anyone blowing Mason's horn better settle down and watch the second half of this game first before saying he is back.
2nd - he's sucked REALLY, REALLY BAD for about 6-7 games now so he's going to have to play good for at least that amount of games before he's back.
3rd - If it was a choice between Bogans and Mason Jr. I would rather give Mason Jr. ALL of Bogans' court time. Bogans is completely useless in all areas of the game. If Mason Jr. can hit shots then he is not totally useless.
Definitely could have been a lot worse. Props to Mason for stepping up on the b2b.... we need him to keep this going if we want a shot at this game. RJ is invisible. Hill with another bad performance.
Hopefully they start the 3rd hustling on Dfense
If Mason Jr. doesn't play like this in the second half then how about not posting anymore?
what Bogans Defense ?
When Roger steps it up and helps the spurs win some big games I hope you RMJ haters don't suddenly act like you were on the bandwagon all along.. oh wait, too late...

Quick! Someone tell me how many double digit games Mason has had since Jan. 15th!
I didn't say anything about Kobe..
Hill sucks against good teams. Did you not get the memo?
Hey let's trade Parker.
Man ... would you just play the man, man?
Totally. Bogans would have to completely shut down everybody, as well as average 4 steals a game to balance out how much he screws up our offense.
It's Pop's fault. He's acting like Bogans can actually hit threes. He can't. Bowen shot 40+% for the Spaurs, so he was a good option. Bogans isn't that guy. Why is this not abundantly clear to Pop yet?
If I'm the opponent, I let Bogans have an open three all night long. Let him shoot it 15 times. It'll lead to 13 fast breaks.
