That was weird. Not sure why. For me it was the sheepishness. Bush did not so much wipe his hand as paw half-heartedly -- perhaps stealthily -- at Clinton's shirt, after diverting him with some chummy shoulder patting.
I know there's a metaphor in there somewhere:

It does look odd, indeed.
Clinton drew back and kinda looked at Bush sideways. It was an awkward moment.
It's obviously because he hates black folk.
If that's the case, I'm not sure why he's hanging out with the first black POTUS.
Great job with the cutting-edge news, Disney!
Wow. Straight from the WTF file.![]()
Proleptic. You're the only poster sticking a spoon in that pot, so far.
In Haiti.
The claim you earnestly seek to undermine surely has no chance, should it ever emerge here. Already you're sharpening up your quips.![]()
He obviously got some kind of on his hands from shaking somebodies hand and decided to wipe it on Clinton instead of himself.
I don't see what the problem is. It's pretty intelligent if you ask me. I hope Clinton would have done the same if the situation is reversed.
Why wipe on your thigh and up your pants when your buddy has a nice shirt for you to wipe it on instead?
If Bush had wiped it on his pants he would have been thinking to himself...what is that ? And been thorogoughly distracted.
He deftly wiped it on Clinton instead and what Clinton didn't know didn't hurt him...until you guys mentioned it.
Now, poor President Clinton is going to be saying, what was that Bush wiped on me...
You only hurt Clinton by doing this.
I know I know...you don't want Bush being re-elected![]()
I think Clinton noticed. He had a visible reaction, I thought.
Not at all...letting Clinton know he was going to do it or did it, totally defeats the purpose behind doing it.
If he wiped it on himself it would have bothered him...so he wiped Clinton who didn't know. Problem solved. No one is bothered.
By letting him know now he is bothered.
Pretty ty thing to do to Clinton if you ask me on the part of the media and you guys, much worse than Bush wiping on him...
Now Clinton is wondering what in the was wiped on him..
I thought you thought it was crafty, but I guess it can be both.
He might have been wondering who it was tapping him...
He might have been thinking, geezus Bush has some sweaty ass hands.
One thing he probably wasn't thinking was...Bush just got some kind of on his hands from shaking hands with someone and he wiped it on me.
Then again, it is possible Clinton had the same on his hands and was saying, Bush just wiped that these people have on their hands on me, what an asshole.
He just wanted to make sure W's hand wasn't dirty. Clinton is extra sensitive about clothing stains these days.
I can honestly say I've done that type of thing before, and will do it again. Especially if you are friend of mine, and especially if the was on your hands in the first place
If you are married your wife has probably done it to you about 50 times btw![]()
Ok, honest question here. Republican or Democrat, who here thinks it would be a lot of fun to hang out with Bill Clinton and G W Bush together. Now, or in college years, whatever.
I think it would be a lot of fun. Clinton would be that guy in the group who could put on a facade for the ladies to make them think he is so cool and classy, but you and W. know he is just a smart, but boozy, sophmoric guy. W. on the other hand would be that guy who isn't quite as smart as you and Bill but cracks the two of you the up with everything he gets wrong. Plus he will stand by you in any situation. Oh, he too is quite boozy and is the one who routinely passes out while you and bill draw on his face.
Okay, none of you can ever accuse me of starting a worthless, useless, pointless thread...ever again.

Except when you do.

it's obvious he thought he was wiping the AIDS off
With an elite, snob, racist Barbara "they're better off" Bush as mutha, dubya is just following protocol.
That was an odd move by former president Bush. If he had just patted former president Clinton on the shoulder, then that would make sense. But Bush clearly wipes his hand on Clinton's sleeve. Very strange.
I have run my hand down Bo's arm before but I was doing it affectionately, which is not applicable here.
Odd, odd, odd.
lol, I'll be damned. Kanye was right.
Just a heads-up, AL, but when you identify former Presidents, you dont have to put "former" before his name.
When youre elected POTUS, you are addressed as "President Bush/Clinton/Carter/Nixon" for life.
No big deal, just thought I would mention it.
