Here is what the LA Times had to say about last night's game. It took up most of page 1 of the sports page (very unsusual for an LA team's regular season game).
The Times looked at the game as validating the Lakers (despite the six game win streak going in). To quote the article:
So someone still respects the Spurs (if not their fans).When was the last time a boring, unimaginative six-game winning streak became a stellar, laudable seven-game winning streak?
