pathetic end of quarter
also duncan missign that gimme .. hes not even playing seriously
Spurs up 3 at the half
AWFUL 2nd quarter
is this team only slightly better than the nets without parker and ginobili?
spurs had just 13 points in the 2nd Q..
Bleh, everyone keeps missing chipshots and free throws too. Crappy end to the half and only up by 3, looks like the Nets are gonna be with the Spurs throughout the whole game.
love my spurs but i almost can't watch this game
I turned it on when it was 42-31 and the next 10 possessions.. WTF. Bogans is dumb as rocks.
Duncan needs to step up. He looked spry and determined early, scored a quick six and hasn't scored since. McDyess needs to do something.
I have no idea why Mason didn't play significantly more minutes. That's the best he's played in a while, the Spurs need scoring/fresh legs and the Nets don't have a major scoring threat on the wing.
Jefferson is playing fantastic, Hill somewhat out of control. Mason and Blair need to play more in the second half.
I hope Pop lashes out on them in the locker room.
Bogans has played his worst game of the season and has all by himself kept the worst team in NBA history in the game against the Spurs.
Could it be clearer what Manu brings to the team? The team playing listless ball, no one seems to be able to energize the players. Duncan's personality is what it is and usually he leads with his play and usually its enough to inspire the other guys.. but in games like this where he's really struggling, one could only wish he could show some passion but he's just not that kind of player.
I don't think so. It's just that we have no real playmaker when both of them are out. Doesn't help that Spurs are always playing 4 on 5 when Bogans is on the court.
Our lead evaporated quickly. We can't make some defensive stops
Bogans should be used sparingly in this game. The Nets don't have a significant scoring threat on the wing and the Spurs clearly are in need of offense in this game. Mason should play a lot more than Bogans in the second half.
what happened to mason.. he was feeling it... put him back in the game
Pop's gotta be ecstatic with all the wide-open, short corner threes they're giving up . . .
This is typical for Keith. He usually has one good game followed by a stretch of bad ones. Unfortunately, Pop refuses to agknowledge this fact and continues to give him 20 mins a night.
Didn't he once say that if a player leaves an opponent open in the corner they would come out of the game?
This game reminds me of one those early season games where Pop is doing everything he can to lose the game so he can do some kinda mojo mindscrew job on the players.
The Spurs will win this game by 12-14 points...book it.
there are just 5 made shoots in a quarter on the spurs part..
had to study that 2nd quarter and the nets got back in the game. whaaaat?
