naw, should be a rape
Tomorrow's game is going to be a fight. New Jersey really doesn't want to be associated with the worst teams in NBA history. They've won 3 of their last 4, and we all know how San Antonio fared against them on a back-to-back.
Nash, JRich, and Amare all played big minutes against the Bulls earlier tonight. We'll need big contributions (mainly on defense) from the bench in order to win this one.
This one has been scaring me for months--but hopefully the Nets aren't as motivated now that they got 10.
I'm a Nets fan and considering how the season is going I want to say they will lose tonight, I kind of hope they lose tonight I want them last and have a better chance at number 1 draft pick
Lets say the Suns lose. Does the Spurs losing to the Nets make them exempt from a LOL thread?
It would be a win by the suns, I expect it to ba a blowout.
The way the Nets win or keep it close is if Gentry still plays Barbosa with the 2nd unit so he can continue to ruin the chemistry and efficiency they've had all season. Last night, barbosa was -16 in 13 minutes, getting him back has been subtraction by addition. Since he's come back from injury the 2nd unit has been terrible, especially White Magic. All year their at ude has been share the ball, make the extra pass and always play within your offense, barbosa has done a good job ruining that mentality.
After watching him chuck up a contested 3 in the 4th quarter last night that barely clanked off of the front of the rim, I really wanted him benched. Unless he's scoring at will, Barbosa is pretty worthless.
How about your boy, Frye? Any kind words for Channing after that clutch-ass shot?![]()
My words on Channing is we wouldn't have needed that shot if he played good defense the entire game and didn't give up an offensive rebound a few possessions prior.
My favorite was that re ed layup/teardrop/no-name-to-describe-it shot he threw up that didn't touch rim and looked like a pass off the back board.
You mean the one that sailed like 4 feet over the rim that Hill had to rebound? Yeah, that was straight up re ed.
Nash is questionable for tonight (they may give him the night off).
I hope so. When Nash is beat up and tired, he becomes more of a detriment to the team. Goran the Magic Dragon will do a fine job.
They should, but with the way Dragic is playing I'm worried that'll result in a Nets W.
Yall we be ok, granted the Spurs lost (no execuse) but they didnt have Manu or Tony, and they played a bunch of D-leaguers for a good chunk of the game! All your personel is there, no worries!!!!!
d harris gon drop 47.
Harris won't even drop 25.
Spurs played a bunch of D-leaguers? Um guess you think the Spurs were D-Leaguers as well since they did lose that game. No offense I liike the Spurs and all after the Nets of course, but both teams really sucked that game, I looked at the scoreboard 5 times and I was like wow Spurs are only up by that much seems like they should be up more, but they sucked at shooting as well and I'm not using them not having Manu or Tony as a excuse for them not winning because they still have Duncan and Jefferson and other players who could have stepped up, when the Spurs play like 12 or so games with only 8 players playing and one starter starting get back to me with excuses of losing, Spurs just weren't as good as the Nets during the game so they lost![]()
LP broadband is coming in handy. I can sit in the library to study accounting and watch them while they're on this road trip. Anyone know the news on Nash?
Well, Nash is playing and is on pace for 20 rebounds, 24 assists, and 16 points (after one quarter). He needs to quit shooting so much when his back is bothering him, though.
Down 3 at the half to the Nets!
Told you it would be a fight.
His stats look pretty decent right now.
Amare with ZERO rebounds in the first half.
