    Well, Malone was a redneck
He'd also be the #1 pick on the All-Time "Guys who got 13-year-old girls pregnant" Starting Five.

    All-Time White Suns

    - Starters -
    Nash (18.8 ppg at peak)
Jeff Hornacek (20.1 ppg at peak)
    Westphal (25.2 ppg at peak)
    Chambers (27.2 ppg at peak)
    Adams (19 ppg at peak)
    - Bench -
    Ainge (17.9 ppg at peak)
    Majerle (17.1 ppg at peak)
Van Arsdale (21.9 ppg at peak)
    Louis Amundson

Majerle and Amundson are the only decent defenders of the bunch, and they are going to get slaughtered on the boards, but that team is putting up 135 per night, easy... Great shooters, unbelievable versatility across the board...
I think the claiming team should only be able to claim the player that team had and not the peak of the player when said player was on different team.

So the Suns are getting the Suns Ainge and not the Celtics Ainge, and the Celtics are getting the Celtics Walton (role player) and not the Blazers Walton (HOFer)...

This makes it way more interesting.

Suns are still kicking some serious ass as beyond Ainge's average listed above, all those career highs came as a Sun.

Agreed. If the Mavs want to claim Steve Nash, then they get All Star Steve Nash, not franchise player Steve Nash.

I think this is very interesting...

    1. Celtics... Damn tough to beat this team.
    2. Suns... Versatility and depth give them advantages over most.
    3. Utah... Hurt by not having Chambers and Hornacek until after Suns peaks.
    4. Dallas... Find a SG and your up there with Utah.

Not sure about Lakers. West and Goodrich is a great foundation, and if their frontcourt has skill, they could be #2.

    Lakers
    PG Goodrich
    SG West
    SF Rambis
    PF Divac
    C Mikan

not great but a good team inside passing and FT's would be great ...athleticism even for a "white" team would be lacking ...

If Davac's best years were as a Laker, then that's a solid frontcourt. It's a little light in scoring up front, but the passing is amazing. Rebounding and defense could be a problem.

    i agree.
I stuck Vlade their because he made his only Finals appearance as a Laker BUT you could argue he belongs to Sacto as well ...

Rebounding would be ok against most normal le teams ....but against the Celtic or suns squads could be an issue but the lack of athleticism ESPECIALLY AT SF ...would be the biggest problem Celts have Bird though not a great athlete better one (much) than Rambis .

My All-time Black Rockets would crush your all time white any team.

    Drexler
    Olujuwan
    Steve Francis
    Vernon Maxwell
    Carl Landry

Gee, a team full of black players would crush a team full of white players. I'll bet you put a lot of thought into that one.

On top of it all, his All-Time Rockets is a pretty average team after Hakeem and Drexler (which was a s of his HOF self with Houston), and he left off Moses Malone, Calvin Murphy, etc...
