Shaq may have been vocal about the strategy after the game was over, but I don't remember him ever pointing a finger at the bench and talking during the game. That sequence just guaranteed that he'd get one more frustration foul and get benched. Dwight's a pussy in a giant body.

Whoa, I wouldn't write them off quite yet. Dewey isn't going 2-of-11 from the free-throw line every night. He shot over 70 percent from the line in the ECF last year.

If Orlando makes it to the Cavs, it'll be interesting to see if both coaches emply the Hack a Big technique.

However last night's game at the Spurs just might be a season-changing, meltdown of a game for Howard. Great teams can already deny the ball to Howard and limit him offensively especially after how LA took care of him last year.

Even if Howard makes his FT averages, it might still be in the opposing team's interest to sap the rhythm away from 'em especially if you're one of those low-seeded teams in the East.

The Bobcats have the size on the perimeter to bother Orlando's big shooters and although they don't have one guy with the bulk to deny Dewey his spots, they have a lot of quickness and agility down low. Plus I'm not sure the Hedgehog can win a coaching match-up with Larry Brown. I wouldn't pick Charlotte to win that series but they can certainly make it interesting.

The way Howard melted down with Hack-a-Howard, I wouldn't be surprised if every team the Magic will face in the playoffs will use this strategy. The kid is mentally weak. Coach Bud was just trying to win the game and he acted like a punk by talking to him.
