Yeah because Manu has never been on a tear before when healthy in a non contract year. He is not playing for a contract right now, dude is a compe or and wants to win games first, sure the contract he will need but damn he is not playing this good unless fully healthy and hungry (Which he has not been the last two years IMO). Buford better pay him a little more than he wants too, if you keep that guy around you did well IMO.

From these boards Manu seems to be the most underrated player in basketball. All this talk how Manu can't carry a team, he isn't a hof, and people justifying their positions against Ginobili based on his career statistics.
No he isn't a statistical monster, but he was never asked to be. I wouldn't have any doubt he could put up superstar numbers and be a repeat all-star if he was asked to take all the shots every game. But that doesn't matter to me(nor him), i'm happy with him being a winner, and making the big plays when it's needed. That's a true measure of someones greatness imo. You can have your seasonal accolades i'm happy with the trophies he's helped us collect in San Antonio.
