he still has not got it and it is the end of the season.

Bonner has really picked it up recently
Bogans has a good game every once in awhile like he did against the Lakers

did last years playoffs really ed him up that much?

I'd like to see Hairston take some of Mason's minutes. He did some good things on Defense today, and I think once he gets adjusted to consistent playing time his shooting will come around. I've alway liked Mason's shooting, but he's been in a slump and lately he is not even looking for his shot.

Mason is wearing a hand brace so I am sure that has changed his shot a little. But from all this year he has pretty much sucked and just doesn't offer anything we need. His defense is terrible and if he ain't hitting the outside shot he should not be playing.

Also Harriston has not shown me anything other then being a 13th man on our team.

OK that is now 3 people in the last few days that said Hairston has not shown them much.

LOL you know what is common for all those 3 people? They called him Harriston. You don't even know his name which shows a lack of respect and I don't think you've watched him play much at all since he has been here last season to say that he is a 13th man. He can play and he can play Defense too. He just needs some time on an NBA court to get his game going.

The same people saying hairston is great are some of the same people saying Ian is the next David Robinson. I hope I am wrong about Hairston and that you are right about him being better then the 13th man.

Nobody has said Hairston is great, I've never heard anybody say that..he produces pretty much every time he's on the floor though..a lot of the time it's something good followed by something bad, which is to be expected of a young player that hasn't played at all, but it's better than Mason giving bad after bad..

I don't really know what you would expect from a guy that plays once every handful of games and has little chemistry with the team..he's obviously still green at this point..the organization likes him though and they all speak highly of him for a reason..he clearly has solid potential to be a good role player IMO..

As for Mason, I get scared any time he's on the floor..I don't care about missing shots, he's just a huge liability on the other end of the floor..defenses always take advantage of him, he doesn't hustle or bring energy, and he has no basketball instincts..other teams always look to attack him, which is also what I would do if I was a coach..

If there was an award for least improved player Mason would probably win.

I thought he had been shooting better lately, especially against Orlando.

It is still funny that he wanted to go to a team that would give him more playing time.

    It's like young Finley....

Confidence is SO important to shooters, and he just has none.

I thought after the last couple games it had been coming back.

It would be awesome if he could get some the last couple games and go into the playoffs on fire.

Pop drained all of his confidence and injected it into George Hill.

it would be closer than you think. If those guys knew the system as much as mason does then they just might be better options at this point.

With Hill out for a few games this puts the spotlight on Mason. Maybe it will get him out of his funk or whatever the that has been bothering him this year. Sometimes a little pressure works wonders.

It's almost never too late for a shooter to get his confidence back. I'd much rather he stink it up all season and get going in the playoffs than the reverse, which happened last year. He's still hustling and working hard. This slump he's in has gone way past brutal and borders on legendary, though. I hope he can salvage his Spurs career and recover while he can actually help the team.

He's the 2010 Jaren Jackson. But atleast Jaren showed up in the playoffs before fading into complete obscurity.

Jaren faded into obscurity after he signed his big free agent contract.
