choosing to call the team either the Texas Stallions, Texas Legends, or Texas Shooters. tbh all 3 of those are horrible. almost as bad as naming your pro team the Thunder.

That is pretty bad. Even something ghey like Frisco Fastbreak would have been better -- but I guess they just want to keep the name Texas in case they have to move in the future.
Texas Travellers would be funny. Texas Teabaggers would be topical. Shooters is the only barely acceptable one of the three.
good point. I thought "Frisco Stallions" wouldn't have sounded too bad, but it makes sense that they'd name them Texas. Although it seems like Frisco does a decent job supporting their minor league teams. The Rough Ryders and FC Dallas both play there and draw decent crowds i think.
I agree, they should do ok there. I think the Dr. Pepper Arena is the perfect size for a D-League team -- but one never knows.

Sonic needs to buy Frisco and rename them the Supersonics and move them to Seattle. Lobby for an expansion draft and steal oodles of young talent from perennial tankers.

I don't have a car anymore, but my girlfriend can give me a ride whenever, since she works like 10 minutes from my apt. Weekends are better for me though.

I wish every NBA team had a DLeague team. That way they could use it like a farm club, and move players back and forth between the NBA and DLeague.....kind of how baseball does it.
