That's nice, doesn't fix that the missed call currently effects the playoff seatings of multiple teams...
NEW YORK, April 7, 2010 – Joel Litvin, NBA President, League and Basketball Operations, issued the following statement regarding the final seconds of the Oklahoma City Thunder at Utah Jazz game last night at EnergySolutions Arena:
"On the final play of last night’s Oklahoma City-Utah game, the officials missed a foul committed by the Jazz’s C.J. Miles on the Thunder’s Kevin Durant during a three-point shot attempt.”

My respects to the NBA for admitting their refs suck.
Coaches should be able to challenge such game-deciding calls.
Hey at least it wasnt in a post-season game, so it wasnt THAT bad.
are you kidding me? with only a couple regular season games remaining and the separation between teams in the west, any loss at this point is a big deal. especially ones with such blatantly obvious no calls.
Yeah, imagine if it had been in the conference finals.
Yeah, imagine if it had been in the NBA finals.
Yeah imagine if it had been in the ASG
Things like this do nothing to improve the image of NBA refs. Oops, my bad - so sorry about that OKC...
The NBA needs more replay or the NBA needs to give teams a challenge or two in every game. I know this isn't football but if teams could challenge calls then like this might not happen. Stern would never do that because it would make his refs look weak and imperfect. Stern cares more about his refs than the integrity of the game.
Two things.
1. Slows down game.
2. NBA 82 games, NFL ~16.
True. That foul in game 3 was obvious. That's the one and only time I have ever seen Bruce Bowen make a boneheaded defensive play at the end of a game.
This type of nonsense doesn't happy in the WNBA =)
The players and coaches as a whole should decide who should be the refs in the playoffs. Everyone gets a vote.
