And Cuban says we've been losing a lot of home games lately,wtf we lost 1 we had won like 8 in a row at home. We didn't lose to NY knicks at home by 30. I don't always agree with Cuban, but he is not stupid in the fields that he chooses to comment on. He didn't say anything that isn't true, he just neglected to mention that Dallas can conversely be killed by any Western playoff team.

Jason Terry echoed the same thought just a few minutes after Cuban said them. He just didn't use the word "kill". Word choice aside, you hear this from a number of players throughout the course of a season.

That efficiency rating the Mavs developed never said that. He was ranked second in that formula but it doesn't mean he's the second-best player in the league.Kidd is the second best player in the league...
I love Mark Cuban. I know he is quite expressive, but the guy adds flavor to the NBA.
Yeah but come on. Kidd is a great player still, but any formula ranking him 2nd behind LeBron is just as flawed and stupid as Hollinger's crap.
Heard an interview w/ Caron Butler the other day on The Ticket. REALLY cool story about what SEEMS to be a really funny, decent guy. For all the bull that's spewed forth from their owner's mouth, guys like Dirk, Kidd, and now Caron do their DAMNDEST to offset it for me.
I'm reeeeally trying to hate the Mavs less and less. It's been a very slow process to this point.
It just depends on what that formula is trying to measure and what they do with the data that they come up with. Is it trying to measure who is the best player in the league? Then yeah, that would be a silly finding to rank Kidd #2. I highly doubt that's what the formula is for.
