Big deal. Aside from Cleveland, Orlando, and LA, every team has losses close to us or worse than us.
and only three 30 loss seasons in previous 21 years.

We're obviously not as dominant, but there's also the fact that there's great talent in the league these days... For the past couple of seasons the west has been as compe ive as ever...

Who cares about thirty losses? The fifty win streak is still very much alive. WHEN the Spurs get to fifty this year they will only be behind the Showtime Lakers...and they could tie them next season.
So (after taking out the strike year) SA has won at least 51 games 17 out of 20 years? Wow! That's awesome. The streak obviously started in #50's first year (1989). I'll take that any day of the week.
