The relevance is obvious; attendance is a primary gauge of interest and long term sustainability.
Except we were talking hypothetical. Unless your post had nothing to do with what you quoted. Which considering that seems to be a pattern the last few posts of yours, I wouldn't be surprised.

I was pointing out your "one day" comment was BS since you can't accurately predict the future.

Also, there's no attendance data for UTSA, unless you want to extrapolate from attendance for other sports, which I don't think you want to (I don't think it would be accurate)

You're reading way too deeply into my comments. But c'mon, I think attendance from other UTSA sports supports my premise that competing with minor or major league franchises hurts utsa sports. If it were the NFL, then I'd say too bad for UTSA because it's the NFL. But it's the UFL, so I say too bad to it.

I don't think it has much to do with compe ion from other franchises. Most college sports aren't going to have very good attendance anyway. Basketball, football, and baseball are really the only one's that stand a chance. I think the bigger issue is just the fact that until UTSA announced football, no one really even attempted to give a damn.

Since the Board of Regents approved football, I've noticed a pretty hefty increase in coverage of UTSA athletics in general, and if that keeps up, UTSA will likely see at least a slight uptick in attendance for the other sports as well.

I was actually trying to see how UTSA baseball was doing the other day and ended up having to go to the Southland website to get anything! MySA had a recap of like one game, and that was 5 or 6 games prior to when I was looking.

I think UTSA attendance will be OK ; but let's not over inflate it.
They will probably use the lower section and not open the top deck or at least they shouldn't.Paid attendence 15K max ; the unknown factor is students that get in for free. If you look at basketball ; I think it's only 1500-2000 in spite of having a growing group living on campus. So having to drive downtown? Also, with the initial schedule(s) the opponents won't draw anyone.
I would also expect the UFL to draw around 15K.The plan is to increase the marketing in a major way and previous SA teams have drawn around that many.
