Hyperizes are still quite new on the market compared to lets say hyperdunks so they haven't gone down in price yet.
Also, the Hyperizes are on sale on Eastbay for $99.99 right now.

However, they're getting some pretty bad reviews, such as in this thread.

Probably the pair I'm getting after I wear out my hyperdunks.

Are those blue/black shoes limited release? I'm not a fan of Laker colors, and my hyperdunks are already red/black, so I'd like something different, but I'm not gonna pay $50+ extra for a different color.
yah..the dark knights are limited edition and the only way you are gonna get it is thru resellers, which are usually $30-$50 above retail. Limited edition shoes cost the same as the general release shoes, they just sell out faster.

If there is a House of Hoops by your place, you have a good chance of getting limited editions if you just come a few hours before opening.

yah..dont get the hyperizes. hyperdunks > hyperizes. If you can get a pair of Kobe IV's for around $90, you should get them. They are pretty similar to the Kove V's.

As a quick player who likes to slash a lot, and someone who bases a lot of their game off of a 36 inch vertical, the shoes make a huge impact on my game. $100-130 isn't that much considering I only buy about one pair of shoes per year, IMHO.
    LOL 36 inch vert.

lol tbh i'm not sure why in 60 year old tlong with a 55 year old asian GF who looks 30 thinks he needs to talk about what 20 year olds verticals are.

black don't crack and asian is pretty close, but old ass honkeys like tlong look every bit of their 50+ years.

Here are my two recent basketball shoes purchases in the last couple months.

I got these at a Nike outlet for like $70. These are I believe last year's Jordan Team Elites. I liked the color scheme and I probably won't wear them to hoop in. I just liked how they looked.

I was ready to buy a pair of Kobe's but wasn't sure what color I was going to get. Then I was at the Sports Authority to buy a new pair of sunglasses and I saw these on sale for $80. I liked the all black look. These are the Hyperdunk lows. Plus they were $50 cheaper than the Kobe's.

Actually TheMACHINE the hyperdunk has lunar foam, not Zoom Air. The HD is a great shoe for a short period of time because the Lunar Foam tends to bottom out. This is the main reason the Kobe IV and V have Zoom Air (low profile gel based bag) in the heel and forefoot.

As far as shoes go, I like the AMLeBron VII, the styling is great and it is VERY comfortable with the 360 air bag. In fact it is so nice I have a few pairs myself.

That's a great deal. I wasn't really looking to buy them and the couple times I've seen them in regular stores they were $90. So I figured $80 was pretty good. I still kinda want to get the Kobe Vs.

So, has anyone played in both the Kobe Vs and Kobe IVs? I've heard the IVs have the lunar foam as well... is it true they bottom out as quickly as the Hyperdunks?

Looking to pick up some new shoes (my hyperdunks are still doing well, but it doesn't hurt to have a backup pair) and I'm curious as to which is the better shoe. I hate the look of the standard Vs, though. =\

yeah they sometimes smell like pussies to you and it's for this reason that you always masturbate to them and let them hold the milky viscous liquid discharged from your urethra during each onanism.

Sons this thread is for all you shoe enthusiasts out there..I am trying to decide on a new basketball shoe for this upcoming spring. Right now I think it's between

    the Jordan Flight 45 High's

    and the 2k10 Huarache's

Any thoughts, experience with either of these 2 shoes, or any other good shoes on the market right now are appreciated.
how about wearing them at the same time with each foot suited in a different design than the other?

Yeah I've played in both. Overall I like the V slightly better, it feels more comfortable to wear, and they're even lighter. Alot of people say the IV has a little bit better traction, but overall the differences are pretty minimal.

The Kobe IV and V both have lunar foam, but they also have zoom air in the heel and forefoot, which meams it won't bottom out as fast as hyperdunks. here's a pic -

Thanks for the info. I'm spying a pair of Kobe IV's on eBay.
