mavs desperately need a slasher. portlands halfcourt d was outstanding and there was no one to break it down.
I had to watch Barea suck ass all year and yet Carlisle stubbornly keeps playing him. Even at the 2 guard. God I hate Carlisle. Luckily, the other players stepped up enough to prevent the damage Barea did while out there.

Barea was good the 3 games prior to this.

get used to it, Roddy isn't going to see any time in the playoffs unless it's the last 2 minutes of a 30 point blowout.
stfu cheerleader.
Barea sucks , always has and always will. No Roddy = No Shot.
He will probably make quite a lot of appearances then if Barea is used as a regular in playoffs as he's been used in regular season.
You are the Barea sucks if you think Roddy could give the Mavs a shot at WCF. If Mavs take on the Spus in the first round then probably a 2nd round appearence is guaranteed for the boys in blue, no alternate way can they penetrate into the 2nd round other than via the Spurs I tell you. Lakers maybe but the Mavs won't get the 8th seed anyway even if they lose all the remaining games deliberately.
Carlisle only plays Roddy decent minutes against the teams bc in those game Roddy can make mistakes and Mavs can still win....he gets no clock against the good teams, check the boxscores.
RC simply doesn't trust him, thus he will see very little of the floor in the playoffs
yup, TOs have been quite a plague for Roddy but I don't think the Mavs have conceded more points due to TOs than the fieldgoals made through the poor defense of that short head.
It's simply because Carlisle is a gay that loves Barea's nice look that he chooses not to play Roddy and gives heavy minutes to that purto rican dwarf, who clearly is a weak line the opponents always find and exploit easily.
RC has a short fuse with Beaubois. He treats him differently than Barea. Barea can really stink it up and Carlisle won't do anything. But if Beaubois has a turnover, you see RC freak out from the bench. We got a rookie bias coach here. It sucks.
All of his strong performances this year are against bad teams.
Beaubois is a little overrated by some Mavs fans. Let's not act like the difference between a 1st round exit and a trip to Finals hinges on who occupies the minutes between Barea/Beaubois.
The great Rick Carlisle knows what the he's doing.
Beaubois +0.7 Plus/minus ratio per 48 minutes
Barea -6.1 plus/minus ratio per 48 minutes. Enough said. It's not even close between who is better for the team.
