Let me guess, he didn't play Dragic for 48 minutes and the suns lost. The suns probably have the worst schedule of anyone left having to face 3 playoff teams in the west who are all fighting for position, maybe 2, I'm not sure if OKC could move up or down at this point. Everyone knows it will come down to the final game in Utah...
BUMP
And no Pauls this has nothing to do with Dragic, this has to do with Barbosa and Frye playing too many minutes when it's clear neither one was contributing jack .
Considering Gentry is nothing more than the long lost African brother of the D'antonis, that wouldn't make a difference. My first choice is somehow prying Adelman away from H-town.
I think Frye has potential, but Barbacoa is an overpaid chucker.
Barbosa is just a horrible allaround player. No idea why he should play anything but in some garbage time.
Frye has his moments shooting those wide open threes... But at least he is good at that while Barbosa sucks at pretty much everything.
Every coach you guys want fired. Maybe it's building around these players that is the problem.
Exactly.
Must be Nash and Amare since the team has changed a lot over the past 6 or so years...
You know I don't disagree, but when there are options sitting on the bench that the coach isn't using, or if there are terrible shots players are taking with 17 seconds left on the shot clock, it's the coaches fault. Basically, building around this group of lazy s is a problem, but having a coach who is ok with them being a bunch of lazy s is a problem too.
Also it's not like everyone wants Gentry fired, my view that he's a terrible coach is an unpopular opinion. With D'antoni, he wasn't fired (idk how many times I have to repeat that), he left on his own whim, and the majority of the fans wanted him to stay. I'm in the minority that thinks run and gun is a bull system.
Giving Barbosa meaningful minutes is the equivalent of the 6th grade basketball league that gave the re ed kids minutes so they feel important. Barbosa is in his late 20's yet has the demeanor of a 10 year old.
My problem with him is he's about as one dimensional as you can get. He has the following ability.
1. Put head down and drive to basket.
That's it... I guess he chucks 3s occasionally, but anyone can do that. He doesn't play D, he can't run the point, he can't rebound, nada...
