Will somebody tell Kobe to stop chucking up so many god damned ill advised shots. Kobe is SINGLE-HANDEDLY destroying the laker offense.

I need the lakers to actually..you know..win this one

This Laker team's real strength is their frontcourt, and that's why even the loss of an underachiever like Bynum is making a big difference. Their size advantage gets them so many offensive rebounds and easy points, making the rest of the team look better than what they are.

Kobe has declined perceptibly, Artest just throws up bad shots and clogs up ball movement, their PG rotation sucks hind , and the likes of Vujacic and Walton never were good at any time in their crappy careers.

You kidding? He had an equally abysmal day against the spurs.

His season stats pretty much were achieved during the first half of the season and maybe a little into the second half?

As far as recent play goes, kobe's been absolutely god awful. It's not even his poor shooting that should be a concern, it's the fact that he refuses to defer to gasol, who should be the 1st scoring option on the lakers.

Teams that win championships, 90%+ of the time, have a big man as the 1st scoring option.

You can bet that even with san antonio, despite ginobili's recent vintage '05 manu-esque play, duncan is going to be the top dog come playoff time.

    Why?

Because big men have an infinitely easier time scoring with high FG% by virtue of their size and proximity to the rim when shooting.

This is why the Lakers FO are idiots. They get gifted Gasol from a dumbass and all of a sudden everyone thinks they are gods. Kobe just got a 3 year extension for almost 30 mil a year with the money INCREASING over the 3 years. For christs sake, who in their right minds would do that?
