to ensure a matchup against the Spurs in the 1st round. Portland is just too big and atheletic and a bad matchup. Also Mavs want no part of Durant & the Thunder.

Let the Spurs win if that means they get the 7th seed and face us.

if im a Mavs fan, im hoping to god to face the Spurs.

once they come out and see the Spurs jerseys, they will shoot 75% and be unstoppable.

anyone else, and they get 'upset' in the first round.

Good take bag....if you were a real Mavs fan you would know that best match-up is against the Spurs. Portland has defenders that give Dirk trouble and Thunder have a young squad with nothing to lose.

    Get with the program dummy

Yeah they did a real good job defending Dirk on Friday. cROFL.

Mavs have shown the ability to contain Durant.

Spurs are better and more experienced than both of those teams.

Spurs are NOT better or they wouldn't be in the position they are in. Mavs can out rebound the Spurs and have the mental advantage.

If you think Dirk or the Mavs wouldn't prefer playing the Spurs you are truly an idiot and need to be slapped

Portland more athletic than the spurs? Parker and Ginobili are way quicker than Miller and injured Roy.

    "mental edge"

Marion/Haywood/Butler weren't a part of any of the playoff victories v the Spurs

Jefferson/Ginobili/McDyess/Blair didn't play last year. Hill hardly played.

Both teams changed their rosters significantly this season. There really wouldn't be a mental edge

Dude..really? You're taking anything Amarelooms says as something knowledgeable? Ghazi has more basketball intelligence in his left pinky than Amarelooms does in his entire body...it's sad, really...I don't know how Amarelooms knows how to breathe without being told.

If Dirk, Kidd and Terry play well Mavs pretty much beat anyone...last I check they have been part of those wins against the Mavs.

I'm pretty sure you are just being a dumbass and know deep down the Spurs are the most favorable match-up

I'll be honest, I'd much rather play LA in the first round than Dallas, but I think the Spurs could beat either.

    Oh hi Amarelooms

    Khafeshoh kooni boy

Anyway, I stand by my opinion. Spurs are a more difficult opponent than the Thunder/Blazers.
