    I recall a lot of posters here predicted the Mavs-Spurs series last season to be great too, a majority of which also predicted a Spurs win even without Manu......

    Look at the Mavs roster last year, then look at it now.
    Look at the Spurs roster last year, then look at it now.

    Realistically last year sucked and people knew it. We had Tony Parker, a hobbled Tim, no Manu, and no bench (our third best player in that series was Hill and he was in in the doghouse because Pop didnt trust him) vs the Mavs.

    Now we have a healthy big 3, a much improved George Hill, and a much better bench.
