Does Caron Butler make the Mavs elite?

Serious question, is he a lateral move as some suggest? Or is he the x-factor in the playoffs?

He can. He played great last night. I love his un-mav like mentality. He drives to the rim he wants to dunk it or get fouled. Its refreshing.

But I wouldn't call him an X-factor. Butler is somewhat consistent in his play. Jason Terry is more of an x-factor. When he is on, the Mavs can beat anybody.

He would if clinching a two seed was on the line. Kidd sat out the entire 4th Quarter. Dirk played 33 minutes, Kidd played 28 minutes, Barea got a heaping helping of 19 minutes.

Dallas stayed home on the shooters, didn't switch and gave the Spurs nothing to look at on tape. The couldn't care less about what Blair did. You're one of the worst posters on the board.

The Spurs laid down and the Mavs played to win with the barest effort possible. Neither team used a playoff rotation or did anything that the other might use in film study.
