ESPN has reported that former Spurs player and current Bulls head coach Vinny Del Negro and Bulls vice president John Paxson have had a disagreement that resulted in a physical confrontation.
Chicago Bulls coach Vinny Del Negro initiated the physical contact with executive vice president John Paxson during an altercation on March 30
ESPN also reports that it's not the first time Del Negro has gotten physical with the front office.
The source said that Del Negro and Bulls general manager Gar Forman had an altercation in Forman's office that was similar, but did not give details.
Yahoo Sports reported the Del Negro/Paxson incident differently
Chicago Bulls executive vice president John Paxson shoved coach Vinny Del Negro twice in the chest and had to be restrained in a postgame confrontation late last month, multiple sources told Yahoo! Sports.
but still, just to be safe, if you see Del Negro coming your way, watch out.

Del Negro was cool as a Spur. He lost his mind working with the Suns.
Barkley picked Del Negro in that fight.

It looks like Del Negro is fighting for his job literally.
I always thought Vinny "Disco Inferno" Del Negro was more of a "lover, not a fighter" type. More Tony Manero, less Rocky Balboa.
...still harboring a deep resentment from back in their playing days.....
Del Negro did nothing but be a professional about it. he's calling the claims that HE initiated the contact "100% false."
I had read another article that says the opposite...that Paxson initiated the contact---even poked Vinny twice in the chest ...and that Vinny did NOT respond for fear of repercussions...
Thats what Ive read too!

I think Del Negro is a great coach! But the front office are a bunch of slime balls trying to make Vinny look bad. Its amazing how far the bulls have come with Him as coach after all the crap hes been getting.
Del Negro is a dangerous beast, and has quite a history of violence since leaving the Spurs, incidents of which you may be unaware, and find rather shocking. Here are just three examples of the dozens and dozens of incidents surrounding the infamous Vinny Del Negro:
1) Sometime mid-march, a bench clearing brawl ensued when Del Negro charged onto the court after becoming convinced that one of the refs was "Eye-balling me, but good."
The following day, Del Negro was quoted as saying, "They may have won the *&^% game, but we won the *&^% fight. Hur, hur."
2) Just weeks after the start of the 09-10 season, Del Negro was questioned by police after this photo emerged allegedly showing Del Negro enraged and screaming at a small group of elementary students. Reportedly, Del Negro became agitated when the girls approached the Bulls' head coach at a local grocery store with several boxes of Tagalongs and Do-si-does, but no Samoas:
Del Negro was reported to have yelled, "Get a job, you *&^% leeches."
3.) Early December the following picture appeared online showing the battered and bruised face of pop R&B singer Rhianna.
Although the picture generated much speculation in the media, the singer denied that she had been abused, stating simply that she had "fallen down some stairs." When subsequently questioned about the picture, Del Negro denied any knowledge of the singer, although the two had been romantically linked for months.
