94-95 Rockets I think
Apologize if there is another thread on this but I looked and couldn't find it. With the Spurs being 7th it made me think about the lowest team to ever go all the way. Who was it? I remember the Knicks made the finals against us with the 8th seed but no idea who actually won it.
yep, 6th seed
The Rockets were the lowest seed and the only team in the History of the NBA to win a le without once having home court advantage.
Dream & Clyde baby !!
DD
Yep, the Rockets. The mid-season trade for Clyde did it for them.
Nope. And it depends on how you define "lowest seed". The '69 Celtics were the last seed in the EC (obviously never had HCA) and won the le in a game 7 in LA - making the Lakers their ass-whipping boys once again and making Jerry West and Wilt Chamberlain the perennial definition of losers.
lol you just owned yourself
you don't honestly think he was serious, do you? Reverse ownage.
Didn't the 1978 Bullets win the le without having home-court in a series? They might have had HC in the old best-of-three first round mini-series.
