Any ESPN SportScience piece is nauseating. The worst one I saw was at the beginning of the NCAA tournament where they had people fill out brackets with only seed numbers (and no teams listed) and then talked about how accurately people predicted the games. No higher seeds do better on average.

And that last bit about "less time than it takes to hit a 90 MPH fastball"... ok yeah, but for a 90MPH fastball, you also have to determine which kind of pitch it is, track it, then have the wrist speed to hit it. A bit tougher.

True, I'm a huge LeBron fan and I still find their hype sickening. The announcers did the same thing with Bird, Shaq, and Jordan though. I don't remember it so much with Magic, since they had Kareem to drool over too when discussing the Lakers.
